"I am one of Eric Smith's customers and the proud owner of two of his bows. They are 42" and 43" Plains Indian style. One is sinew backed and red ochre coloured with a smoked buckskin handle. Its draw weight at 19" is around 42 lbs. I enjoy shooting it immensely. Eric is meticulously faithful to the originals of the 19th century. Mine looks like it should be in a museum display. The other bow is a selfbow of osage orange. At 50 to 60 lbs. drawn at 19" its power and quickness are impressive! To me, the best parts of my dealings with Eric are his dediction to authenticity and customer service. He is easy to work with in that he satisfied all my wishes and followed up after my receiving the bows to make sure I was satisfied. He is a true professional of unusual ability and person of the hightest order. - William Clark, an archer and retired teacher of history living in western New York."
